Anthony Drmic
Anthony Drmic (born February 25, 1992) is an Australian basketball player, currently a senior at Boise State University. While he has represented Australia in international competition, he also holds a Croatian passport. He is a 5 year starter for the Broncos and led the team in scoring during his first 3 seasons. He played just 7 games of his senior season before being declared out for the season and was granted a 5th year of eligibility. He wears #3 for the Broncos and is considered a borderline NBA prospect.
==College career==
Drmic attended the Australian Institute of Sport and was recruited to the United States to play at Boise State with teammate Igor Hadziomerovic. As a freshman, Drmic started all 29 games for the Broncos, averaging 12 points per game and set a school record for three-pointers by a freshman (57). At the end of the year, he was named honorable mention All-Mountain West Conference (MWC). As a sophomore in 2012–13 he raised his scoring to 17.7 points per game, leading the Broncos to the 2013 NCAA Tournament in the process. As a junior, he was named second-team All-MWC for the second year in a row, as well as All-District by the United States Basketball Writers Association.
Prior to the start of his senior season, Drmic was named first-team preseason All-MWC. On December 30, 2014, the school announced that Drmic would miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury and would apply for a medical redshirt to play in 2015–16. He was averaging 15.0 points per game at the time.
